A Superhero, A Scientist And A Cartoon Cat Walk Into A Hard Drive…

One of the actions we take most at WBAA is to transfer files from our personal computers to the server that hosts all of the audio you hear played on the air. So it’s important to have a good USB thumb drive with which to transport said audio. Around here, “good” doesn’t just mean having enough space to fit everything you need. It means having a thumb drive that’s unique enough that no one will ever question it belongs to anyone else.

USBs

Above, you see the Hello Kitty flash drive of News Intern Carey Ganz, the Batman drive belonging to Senior News Intern Charlotte Tuggle and my Albert Einstein thumb drive. I can’t get over how Batman towers over the other two. Though we’ve all made good choices on our distinctive flash drive, it’s still a little weird seeing Einstein’s butt hanging out of the USB port in our server room.
